Saturday Roundup: baby edition
I mentioned in last week's Saturday Roundup that I hoped to be snuggling a new baby while you were reading that edition. It happened; our newest little girl arrived on Friday, June 27th. She is now a week old; you can see more pictures here and here and...well, just about anywhere on our blog right now...we're just a wee bit smitten.
You could say that we had her the frugal way: at home with a midwife. Our non-traditional insurance policy covers homebirths with absolutely no deductible! It's only fair to tell you that this hasn't always been the case; some of our homebirths have cost us far more out of pocket than a hospital birth would have. It's not the sort of decision that you make based on dollar signs, but it sure is nice when the dollar signs wind up on the winning side of the deal.

Congratulations! Your little baby is so sweet! We had our baby in that tub too
